Every day is a day to be grateful. Are you too busy? Eckhart Tolle, from A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose, admonishes us to ask this question often: “‘What can I give here; how can I be of service to this person, this situation?’ You don’t need to own anything to feel abundant, although if you feel abundant consistently things will almost certainly come to you. Abundance comes only to those who already have it.” Start your own list with “I am grateful…” and let it brew through the end of the year. Here’s the start of my list. Will you take time to do it? v I am grateful for those enlightened souls whose contributions create a shift in world consciousness.
v I am grateful for those who display basic values of social grace.
v I am grateful for the holy moments that appear when I stop to be present to the beauty that surrounds me.
v I am grateful to know that new possibilities are waiting to be embraced.
v I am grateful for the people who take the time to give compliments and statements that encourage the spirit.
v I am grateful for the people who do not breach agreements.
v I am grateful for my courage during times of uncertainty.
v I am grateful for readership.
v I am grateful for love.
