Do you know an amazing woman?
Nominate her today!
We’ve set a goal to get one million nominations for one million amazing women, in our Be…a Woman Award this year. The mission is to bring women together from across the country, united in solidarity and recognition of the simple qualities that connect us and affect the lives of those around us. It is a validation that individuals from all walks of life can make a difference in the lives of other people regardless of age, race, or education.
To achieve our mission of collecting one million amazing women nominations, we need you to nominate all the amazing women you know. Let these women know, while you can, that you think they’re amazing.
About the Award
The Be a Woman Award has two categories – Amazing Woman and In Memory of an Amazing Woman. Both categories are a celebration of the modest humble women who quietly and subtly influence our lives and make us believe we can be anything. It brings into view the grace and beauty of the unsung heroes who mold us, share with us, believe in us, lift us up, and inspire us to make the world a better place. The women who are always “there for us,” to stand shoulder to shoulder, to help us get back on our feet, or to encourage us to keep going to reach for our dreams.
The recipients of the award will be a reflection of the inner beauty found in the book Be…a Woman: expressions of life.
Who should you nominate?
The woman you nominate may be your mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher, friend, neighbour, or co-worker. She may not hold a high school or university degree, she may not have a fancy title to her name, she may have never worked outside the home - but she has influenced your life in a positive and meaningful way—today or in the past.
• There is no age restriction on the person nominating someone
How to nominate—it’s easy!
You can nominate more than one woman and more than one person can nominate the same amazing woman.
Nominate an extraordinary woman in one of two categories:
1. Amazing Woman
2. In Memory of an Amazing Woman.
It’s free, it’s easy...it means so much.
It is our hope that this campaign will create a new dialogue about what it means to be amazing, what it means to be a woman and the ways we can look at ourselves and those around us with more compassion and less judgment…deeply connected.
Erika’s legacy lives on in a meaningful way—reflective of how she lived her life—connecting and uniting amazing women everywhere…including you and your nominee.
